Old Kent Road are proud to present, Caleb Teicher & Company (CT&Co) in London.

We are holding workshops with Caleb and his company while they are visiting London. The workshops take place over 2 days, Friday 17th and Sunday 19th of November. So get it in your diary!!

Here's a bit of information on CT&Co:

Caleb Teicher & Company (CT&Co), founded in 2015 by acclaimed dancer/choreographer Caleb Teicher, presents new work that blends traditional American dance forms (Tap, Lindy Hop, Vernacular Jazz) in a modern context. Taking inspirations from his background in concert dance, musical theater, and social dance, the company’s work inspires, connects, and reflects a collective conscious within American music and dance.

CT&Co’s signature elements of musicality, humor, and warmth have won the hearts of audiences seeking to connect to America’s rich and diverse physical heritage, whether tap dancing to Bach or swing dancing to Chet Baker, playing patty-cake to Sufjan Stevens or ballroom dancing to Ella Fitzgerald. Past engagements include Works & Process at Guggenheim Bilbao, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival’s Inside/Out Series, Gibney Dance, Queens College, The Yard on Martha’s Vineyard, LaMaMa Experimental Theater Club, and the American Tap Dance Foundation, amongst others.

There will be 4 workshops, plus a short performance during their visit. Everything will take place at Pineapple Dance Studios (entrance fee applies - Friday £4 / Sunday £2).
